Andrea L. Volk, M.D.

Staff Dermatopathologist

Certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and in Dermatopathology, Dr. Volk earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine.  She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and her fellowship in dermatopathology under Drs. Emily Omura, Jim Elder and Bob Jones at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  In addition to publishing several articles and presenting lectures related to the field of dermatopathology, Dr. Volk has been active as an inspector and spokesperson for the College of American Pathologists and served as a member of the Continuing Education and Research Committee of the American Society of Dermatopathology.  Currently, Dr. Volk is a member of the American Society of Dermatopathology Journal CME committee.  Dr. Volk is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the International Society of Dermatopathology.
