Dr. Bostwick is internationally renowned, with more than two decades of experience in prostate cancer, bladder cancer and urologic diseases.  He was formerly a professor of pathology and urology at the Mayo Clinic.  Dr. Bostwick has authored 17 books, more than 30 book chapters and over 400 papers.  His textbook, Urologic Surgical Pathology, is the bestselling book in uropathology.  He is also the most sought-after pathologist for second opinions in prostate pathology.

Dr. Bostwick is on the editorial board of eleven journals, and is past President of the International Society of Pathology.  His most quoted works include the first descriptions of prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (1986) and atypical small acinar proliferation (1998).
